AUGUST 14

On Saturday, August 14, two of the best bantamweights in the world will meet when former unified world champion Guillermo Rigondeaux faces John Riel Casimero for Casimero’s WBO bantamweight world title. 

 

AUGUST 28

On Saturday, August 28, undefeated two-time former super middleweight world champion David Benavidez will face former super middle champion Jose Uzcategui in a fight that will put the winner one step closer to a world championship opportunity. Benavidez, 24, made boxing history when he became the youngest super middleweight world champion at age 20 with a victory over Ronald Gavril in 2017.

 

 

SEPTEMBER 11

On Saturday, September 11, the red-hot 122-pound division will take center stage once again on SHOWTIME as the WBO junior featherweight world champion Stephen Fulton, Jr. will make the first defense of his title against the winner of the May 15 clash between undefeated champions Nery and Figueroa.

BELLATOR MMA™

BELLATOR MMA™ launched exclusively on SHOWTIME in April with three consecutive weeks of action-packed fights that featured highly anticipated matchups, including the launch of the BELLATOR MMA™ Light Heavyweight World Grand Prix tournament featuring eight of the top stars from the deepest 205-pound division in the sport.

The network will televise two live BELLATOR MMA™ events per month for the remainder of the year. All BELLATOR MMA™ events, domestically and internationally, will be available on SHOWTIME® in the United States. Preliminary undercard matchups will stream live on the BELLATOR MMA™ YouTube channel and SHOWTIME SPORTS’ YOUTUBE CHANNEL.

On Saturday, July 31, Patricio Pitbull (32-4), the greatest BELLATOR athlete in the history of the promotion, takes on the company’s best-ever homegrown fighter in No. 1 ranked AJ McKee (17-0) for the BELLATOR Featherweight World Championship and a one-million-dollar price. 

 

 

The preliminary portion of the event streams live at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on the BELLATOR MMA YouTube channel, SHOWTIME Sports YouTube channel, as well as Pluto TV and features former featherweight title challenger and No. 2 ranked Emmanuel Sanchez (20-5) versus Denmark’s No. 8 ranked Mads Burnell (15-3), a bantamweight tilt between No. 3 ranked Magomed “Tiger” Magomedov (18-1) and No. 4 Raufeon "Supa" Stots (16-1) and a lightweight affair pitting undefeated Usman Nurmagomedov (12-0) against Manny Muro (12-6).

Additional BELLATOR events will be announced throughout the year.
